Review: Korean Skin Care Products Bought Through beautynetkorea.com
I’m a skincare lover and I’m always on a lookout for new products made with
It’s been more than two months since I received my courier from them on 7th of December, 2018. These two month’s I’ve had the chance to test the products and give you my feedback on them.
However, before I do that it is vital for you’ll to understand my skin type and the reason to order these products –
Skin Type: Combination + Dry
Key elements in skin care products: Hydrating, Moisturising, Gentle exfoliant and Sun Care
Location: Tropical/Humid
Age group: 20-30’s
Ethnicity: South Asian – Indian
Now all these factors are great contributors behind my selection for skin care. I’m in constant need of hydration, moisturisation and good sun care. The humid weather, polluted city living and stress makes it pivotal for me to be hands on with my skin care routine. Not to mention, age and unhealthy lifestyle are also few of the many contributing factors.
After a lot of study and experiment with skincare, I avoid purchasing products with parabens, chemicals, fragrances etc. They make my skin itch and get rashes, despite of it not being sensitive. I just be careful and mindful of my choices for the long run.
The whole concept of 11 step Korean Skin Care and using products that as a mix of technology and natural ingredients got me attracted to the trend. I would say almost 80-85% of skin care in India is mixed with chemicals and very few natural brands/non-toixc brands tend to be on the expensive front. Hence, I thought if I’m to spent a significant amount of my money on skincare why not get from the best and that’s exactly what I did.
Imagining me with my glass skin, I ordered myself –
- Etude House: Natural Konjac Face Cleansing Puff
- Farm Stay: Collagen & Hyaluronic Acid All-in-One Ampoule
- TonyMoly: Wonder Water Moisture Cream
- Medi Flower: Water Drop Moisture Gel Cream
- Medi Flower: Collagen Wrinkle Cream
- 3W Clinic: Snail Mucus Anti Wrinkle Eye Cream
- EyeNLip: Hydrogel Eye Patch (Calamansi)
- SaatinSight: Wegstehlen Cleansing Balm
- EyeNLip: Calamansi Vita Cleansing Oil
*Before I go ahead, I can confirm that these products are authentic and real. (I would obviously not experiment with my skin cause it is my face that we are talking about)
Korean Skin Care Product Review + Results:
Etude House: Natural Konjac Face Cleansing Puff – Soft and gentle when soaked in water. It is a gentle exfoliant and I enjoy using it during my shoer. It is essential to wash it with luke-warm water after use. Not squishing in your one hand, rather pressing it between your palms.
I do not put the face wash directly on the puff, instead I put it on my face and then exfoliate with the puff. I haven’t seen a stark difference, but it does make my skin look cleaner. Gentle exfoliant is key for healthy skin.
Farm Stay: Collagen & Hyaluronic Acid All-in-One Ampoule – It does the trick for me. Its like a serum/ampoule of which I dab only few drops all over my face and then follow up with a moisturiser. One thing that I’ve noticed is that it does make my skin look more plump and healthy. No flaky nose. No chapped lip sides. Light on skin. All good.
TonyMoly: Wonder Water Moisture Cream – It is a water cream and does exactly what it says. It comes melts into my skin like water and within minutes of application my skin soaks up all that moisture. I do not feel like a heavy weight moisture cream is on my face, instead it feels like I’ve spritzed my face with a hydrating mist.
Mind you, it isn’t that light and neither is it that heavy. Perfect for transitional weather.
Medi Flower: Water Drop Moisture Gel Cream – Quite an interesting product I’d say. It is literally gel that converts into water on my face and my skin drinks it up like water. I am serious. It does not sit on your skin even for a minute. It is the instant hydration boost your skin would need on any given hot/humid day. Really good.
I would say this is a keep for summer time. It sure is!
Medi Flower: Collagen Wrinkle Cream – This is a proper thick moisturising cream that just pampers your skin and nourishes it to the maximum. It does leave a greasy film on your skin. But, it also on the other hand makes your skin feel good and healthy. It is not “heavy” by any means. Just a thick moisturising cream, thats all.
This cream also gives elasticity to my skin because of the good nourishment. A definite yes during winters.
3W Clinic: Snail Mucus Anti Wrinkle Eye Cream – This is a very good product. I would compare it to the likes of Tatcha – Ageless Eye Cream.
Hydrating. Nourishing. Gentle for your under eye skin. Healing. Works wonders on fine lines and wrinkles. So light and good. Does the trick every single time. I apply it as a part of my night time skin care routine.
EyeNLip: Hydrogel Eye Patch (Calamansi) – These are the most cooling and hydrating eye masks for my under eyes. I put them on and in few hours my under eye skin just livens up. As if it was all dehydrated and drenched all this time. Lifeless to say. These eye masks are really good. The work beautifully every single time. Compact and non-irritational.
SaatinSight: Wegstehlen Cleansing Balm – This is my travel kit essential. It goes with me everywhere. Removes all types of make up and the ideal product for double cleanse.
EyeNLip: Calamansi Vita Cleansing Oil – This is my at home makeup cleanser. I use it during my double cleanse. Smells of lemons and I love it. Fresh and great. I like it. Removes all the dirt and much without leaving any trace or pigmentation behind. I do not need to put much work into it either. I just gently rub my face and give it a good massage with my fingers. Wallah! I’ve got good clean skin ready for my next step of skincare.
All in all, I’ve enjoyed and liked all these products. My mom and me have been giving them lot of love and getting to see results with time. We haven’t changed our routine and we’ve stuck to these products.
I am happy with my money spent and I do think the products are great. Definitely worth a shot.
My skin hasn’t been irritated even for a second. All of them are definitely skin-friendly.
These products are not as per all stages of Korean Skin Care, rather bits and pieces of it. I already have lot of skin care and it would be foolish to keep them aside to try new products. Therefore, I only ordered what I needed and I am glad to repot that I liked all of them.
Customer Rating: 4.5/5
I hope you enjoyed my complete review of my experience with beautynetkorea. These products are going to last me for a while and hence, I don’t see myself reordering them any time soon this year.
#ProTip I’m sharing with you’ll the exact quantity of skin care products you need to use to get maximum results from them. Not an inch more or less from the recommended –
