Exclusive: Celebrity Make Up Artist Decodes Hair & Make Up Of Four More Shots Please! Season 2

We’ve been really enjoying Four More Shots Please! Season 2. It’s stylish and has sort of got a complete revamp aesthetically and visually since Season 1. Everyone’s style is more out there and the look over all has a very fresh and uber chic feel to it. The makers and the team have made Four More Shots Please! a trend setter I believe.

Hence, I thought why not directly speak to the master of the craft and get exclusive details on the glamorous beauty looks of the star cast.

Today I am in conversation with Vaishnavi Singh @goldandglittr , Hair and Make Up Artist for Kirti Kulhari on Four More Shots Please! Season 2. Anajana, Kirti’s character on the show has many looks from looking anything but plain Jane. Bold lips, great skin, wavy hair, simple eyes and rosy cheeks. Almost every girl’s go-to clean and snatched look. Her make up and hair has been loved so much, that my readers have been searching for these key words on my blog – Kirti, Make Up, Hair, FMSP! Therefore, here is me catering to your lovely requests. Let’s start –

Tell Us About Yourself

I am from Delhi and I was a luxury consultant before I entered the makeup industry, which was back in 2015. I left my fancy job and started doing small Makeup projects there itself. In 2016 I went to Los Angeles to learn Make-up (beauty and prosthetics) and hair from Cinema Make-up school. Stayed there, worked and also assisted my professors on a few Hollywood projects. When I came back in 2017 end I joined Smashbox India as their head trainer.

After a year of working as a trainer I realised that I like this whole hustle of working on sets. In December 2018, I left my job And worked on many music videos, portfolio, fashion shoot but my biggest first break was Houseful 4 and then Chicchore, Bharat wherein I did prosthetics and beauty both.

Four more shots season 2 was my first project with Kirti. She called me for an event Make-up and hair. She really liked my work And three months later I was called for Four more shots season 2 🙂

What Was The Brief For Kirti Kulhari aka Anjana’s Look For Four More Shots Please! Season 2?

This Season Anjana was definitely way more confident, experimental and bold. She’s someone who gave into her impulses whether it was trying and being experimental with different makeup or an impulse of travelling and meeting her friend who really needed her in that situation.

She defined her looks this season instead of following any certain trends. This is why if you observe we experimented with various looks for her wether it’s slick back hair or bold lips etc.

What Kind Of Hair Products Did You Play Around With To Create Anjana’s Signature Look?

I try avoiding hair products unless it’s very important. I use Osis Flatline Heat Protectant always if I’m using heat for her styling. Rest Kirti has thick dense hair, so any hairstyle we do usually stay for long unless it’s a long scene and the weather is too humid.

For all her slick back, tied hair looks and buns, we have used Moroccan Oil and Kerastase Oil L’Huile Légère. For final touch I use a little of Schwarzkopf Osis Strong Hold Spray.

Another product I love using specially for wavy hair is Schwarzkopf Osis Sparkle Shine! It gives beautiful sheen to the hair. Hair looks so healthy and fancy.

Any Tips On How To Achieve Kirti’s Flawless Glowing-But-Barely-There Make Up Look?

It’s funny but “less is more” is usually the hardest thing to achieve. Kirti already has beautiful skin, so we have to be very careful with the amount of product used. Too less could look dull and if added more looks cakey. Also achieving dewy finish in hot/humid weather is not easy but if done the right way looks wonderful.

These are my tips for “healthy no makeup look” –

Kirti’s Character, Anjana Has Been Spotted Carrying Some Incredible Lip Shades! Name Top 5 lip Shades She Rocked In The Show.

Oh yes! We used many lip Colors for her this season. I’ll share with you the ones we used the most!

Tell Us Her Skin Care And Hair Care Mantra

Kirti is very particular with her skin and hair. She eats healthy, keeps herself hydrated and religiously use all skin care and hair products without missing a day. Consistency is the key, follow the regime religiously be patient and the products will show the results.

Cleanse, tone and moisturise + hydrate.

Similarly for hair, use the right shampoo + conditioner/ mask + serum/oils.

Also, understand your hair type and see what your hair needs. Always choose hair products that are made exclusively for your type of hair. Heat protectant is a must before heat styling.

Last But By No Means The Least, Decode Our Favorite Looks From The Show

This was our photo shoot in Istanbul. We wanted the look to be more fashion and not commercial. Gold skin and messy hair!!

We used loads of bronzer on her and also went two shades warmer then her actual skin color to get that bronze/ sun tan look. It came out pretty well!! With her hair we kept it messy bed head hair inspired by the runaways and red carpet bed head looks. There’s something about messy hair it just makes you look so sexy!!

This is one of the most popular looks this season. It was a hot afternoon in Udaipur but it was fun! It felt like we actually went for a wedding. Everyone was so well dressed for this Sangeet function!

Clean skin and straight hair with subtle gold lids and coral lips was the idea!! For me it’s very important to balance the look, its more fancy and chic. So there was already a lot happening in the lehenga so we wanted to make sure that the Make-up balances it.

_______ NEXT LOOK ________

Classic warm eye makeup ,brown lip shade and shoulder length layers with tousled waves. This is the only look in the entire season where I have used a brown lip colour. It is one of the most famous red carpet lip shades but we have a hard time using it into our daily life/work life.

Idea is to show the viewers that if used correctly brown is actually the perfect lip Color for office/work.

Wavy hair is one of the most famous trends this season and looks stunning on everyone. Create a few big waves with a flat iron and you get an easy everyday look!!
